White Settlement, TX, in west Fort Worth, offers established post-war neighborhoods, Brewer ISD access, and a strong long-term homeownership culture. Build Strong provides remodeling services tailored to mid-century homes and local renovation needs.
We assess the actual corrosion condition of galvanized lines in each White Settlement property, not the average condition for the city, so the plumbing scope reflects what that specific house needs.
60-amp original panels are assessed, the upgrade scope is priced clearly in the written proposal, and the connection to insurance policy implications is explained before any work begins.
Every required permit is filed with the City of White Settlement. We manage every application, plan check, inspection, and final closeout.
White Settlement families invest renovation budgets carefully. Our fixed-price proposals hold from signature to final invoice — no surprises, no mid-project changes without written authorization.

White Settlement's housing was built during the post-war period when the Naval Air Station drove residential growth on Fort Worth's west side making the city's housing stock almost entirely 1950s and 1960s construction. These homes were built to last, and the structural bones of most White Settlement properties are genuinely solid after six-plus decades. The issue is not the structure it is the plumbing, the electrical capacity, and the floor plans. Galvanized steel supply lines that have reached and in many cases exceeded their service life. Original 60-to-100-amp electrical panels that cannot power the appliance loads of a contemporary kitchen. Closed floor plans that isolate the kitchen from the rest of the house in a way that no modern household finds acceptable. A kitchen renovation in White Settlement that opens the layout, replaces the galvanized supply lines, upgrades the electrical panel, and delivers modern cabinetry and countertops does not just update the appearance of the kitchen — it transforms the function of the entire first floor for the household that uses it every day. That functional transformation is what long-term White Settlement homeowners most frequently describe as the result that surprised them most about their renovation. Electrical panel upgrades in White Settlement warrant particular attention. The 60-amp original panels found in many homes from this era are not only insufficient for modern kitchen appliance circuits they are in many cases a liability on a home insurance policy. We assess panel capacity at the site visit and present the panel upgrade as a clearly priced scope item rather than allowing it to emerge as a construction-phase surprise.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with David Rubin and his team on my backyard project. From the very beginning to the completion of my back porch and beautiful gazebo area, David was there every step of the way. I had several contractors come out and give me estimates, but David immediately stood out. He was personable, honest, trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely interested in understanding exactly what I wanted. As a single woman who had never taken on a project like this before, I honestly had no idea where to start. David made the entire process comfortable and stress-free. I never felt pressured or taken advantage of. David worked with me on financing to make the project affordable while still giving me what I wanted. He went above and beyond what I expected. He even provided a shower door at no additional cost and moved and stained my fence without charging me extra. While I was at work, David and his crew handled everything—from picking up supplies to coordinating the work and making sure everything was taken care of. Whenever I had a concern, an idea, or something I felt needed to be corrected, David listened and took care of it right away. He would call and check in regularly to make sure I was happy and that everything was progressing the way it should. What impressed me most was that David treated my project as if it were his own. He didn’t just want to finish the job—he wanted me to be happy with the result. And the best part is that even after the project was completed, David has continued to be helpful. He has offered to connect me with people who can help with other things around my home, such as putting furniture together, installing ceiling fans, and other handyman projects. I truly feel like I gained a friend, not just a contractor. My backyard turned out beautiful, and I am extremely happy with the quality of the work and, most importantly, with how I was treated throughout the entire process. If you are looking for someone who is honest, dependable, caring, and truly stands behind his work, I highly recommend David Rubin and his team. You will not regret choosing them! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Posted on Google![]()

The Build Strong team actually completed two projects - one to repair water damage to my retaining wall and a second to refurbish a very old pool deck that wasn't really safe to walk on. The retaining wall repair included a new French drain to relieve water pressure after rainfall and the work was completed quickly. A more challenging project followed that involved removing all of the sandstone slabs around our pool and resetting them so that they were graded correctly for runoff and to improve the overall look and safety of the entire pool. A new French drain was also installed. The work was well done and has turned an unsafe eyesore back into a nice looking finish. The first image is the upgraded pool prior to power washing and the second is the original look. We were very satisfied with both projects.Posted on Google![]()
