Build Strong was initially very helpful in assisting us with the design and planning of our outdoor patio. They worked with us to create a layout that aligned with our budget, which we appreciated. However, the execution of the project was far from smooth. On the very first day of work, we were informed of unexpected expenses and were asked to contribute additional funds beyond our agreed budget. Unfortunately, this became a recurring issue. Nearly every day the crew was on-site, we were approached for more money due to unforeseen requirements uncovered during inspections—such as additional concrete footing specifications and larger structural beams for the pergola. These repeated surprises created a stressful and uncomfortable experience, especially given the scale of the investment. As the project progressed, it also seemed that the quality of work declined. The subcontractor responsible for the concrete appeared to miscalculate the required amount, resulting in multiple pours. This led to rushed work and visible inconsistencies. Although they returned to address the issues, the fix appears to have been superficial; the top layer is already beginning to chip away. Notably, the quality of our older driveway concrete is noticeably better than that of the newly installed patio, which is disappointing. There are additional concerns I could outline, but overall, our experience with Build Strong was average. It did not seem that the team had fully anticipated the requirements of a project like this, and when challenges arose, the financial burden was consistently shifted onto us. The attached photos illustrate some of the issues, particularly the uneven cosmetic alignment between concrete sections. While this may seem minor at first glance, it becomes quite noticeable when placing furniture, as it creates a visibly uneven and asymmetrical appearance. I reached out to the company to discuss potential remedies, but unfortunately, I did not receive a response.

I recently hired Build Strong Construction & Remodeling for an extensive outdoor project, and the results are phenomenal. They handled everything from the stone-masonry on our tiered front flower beds to a complete backyard transformation. The new flagstone patio is beautifully laid, and the custom outdoor kitchen—featuring a built-in Blackstone and smoker station—has completely changed how we use our outdoor space. I especially love the design of the fire pit and the stone walkway; the attention to detail in the leveling and finish is top-notch. I contacted David about adding some walls in my house to make a few private bedrooms. The company is very good, they know what they're doing and the workers are knowledgeable and friendly. All questions and concerns were addressed right away, problems were resolved quickly. I now have 3 new bedrooms in my house and I'm very pleased. I highly recommend them!
