A full house remodel is the most complex renovation a homeowner can take on, and the most common reason these projects go over budget and over schedule is simple: too many separate contractors who don't communicate with each other and nobody managing the sequence. Plumbing rough-in has to happen before drywall closes. Flooring can't go in until cabinet installation is done. Paint goes in last. When those sequences get out of order, trades are waiting, work gets redone, and costs grow. Irving homeowners choose Build Strong Construction and Remodeling because we eliminate that problem at the source by managing the entire renovation under one team and one project manager. We have completed full house remodeling projects across Irving and the DFW metro that ranged from a focused refresh of kitchens, bathrooms, and flooring to complete gut renovations involving structural changes, full system replacements, and exterior updates. Every project starts the same way: a detailed scope conversation, a room-by-room plan, a fixed-price written estimate before any work begins, and a clear project schedule you can hold us to. When every trade answers to one project manager who knows the complete plan, everything runs more smoothly, and the finished home is the one you designed, not the one that emerged from a series of compromises.
Full home remodeling touches structural, electrical, and plumbing systems, so every phase of your Irving renovation is permitted, inspected, and completed to code before the next phase begins.
Detailed, room-by-room estimates with a breakdown of every trade's scope before work begins. You see exactly where the budget goes, and the number you approve is the number on your final invoice.
A phase-sequenced master schedule built before demo starts and managed week by week so your Irving home renovation finishes on the date you planned, not the one that kept sliding.
When you’re remodeling the whole house, the order trades work in matters as much as the quality of the work itself. A plumber who shows up after drywall has been hung has to cut into finished walls to run pipe. A flooring crew that works in a room before cabinet installation is done will have their work scratched before the project is over. An electrician who roughs in before framing modifications are complete may find that outlets end up inside a new wall. We sequence every phase of your Irving home renovation to eliminate these problems before they happen, not respond to them after they cost you time and money.
One point of contact, one budget, and one completion date are how we run every full house project. When something comes up that affects the schedule or the cost, we tell you before we act on it, and we present the options so you can make the decision. That level of transparency and communication is rare in the DFW remodeling market and it’s the reason Irving homeowners who work with us once tend to call us first for the next project too.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with David Rubin and his team on my backyard project. From the very beginning to the completion of my back porch and beautiful gazebo area, David was there every step of the way. I had several contractors come out and give me estimates, but David immediately stood out. He was personable, honest, trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely interested in understanding exactly what I wanted. As a single woman who had never taken on a project like this before, I honestly had no idea where to start. David made the entire process comfortable and stress-free. I never felt pressured or taken advantage of. David worked with me on financing to make the project affordable while still giving me what I wanted. He went above and beyond what I expected. He even provided a shower door at no additional cost and moved and stained my fence without charging me extra. While I was at work, David and his crew handled everything—from picking up supplies to coordinating the work and making sure everything was taken care of. Whenever I had a concern, an idea, or something I felt needed to be corrected, David listened and took care of it right away. He would call and check in regularly to make sure I was happy and that everything was progressing the way it should. What impressed me most was that David treated my project as if it were his own. He didn’t just want to finish the job—he wanted me to be happy with the result. And the best part is that even after the project was completed, David has continued to be helpful. He has offered to connect me with people who can help with other things around my home, such as putting furniture together, installing ceiling fans, and other handyman projects. I truly feel like I gained a friend, not just a contractor. My backyard turned out beautiful, and I am extremely happy with the quality of the work and, most importantly, with how I was treated throughout the entire process. If you are looking for someone who is honest, dependable, caring, and truly stands behind his work, I highly recommend David Rubin and his team. You will not regret choosing them! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Posted on Google![]()

The Build Strong team actually completed two projects - one to repair water damage to my retaining wall and a second to refurbish a very old pool deck that wasn't really safe to walk on. The retaining wall repair included a new French drain to relieve water pressure after rainfall and the work was completed quickly. A more challenging project followed that involved removing all of the sandstone slabs around our pool and resetting them so that they were graded correctly for runoff and to improve the overall look and safety of the entire pool. A new French drain was also installed. The work was well done and has turned an unsafe eyesore back into a nice looking finish. The first image is the upgraded pool prior to power washing and the second is the original look. We were very satisfied with both projects.Posted on Google![]()

Daniel, David, and the entire team did an outstanding job on my landscaping project—professional, thoughtful, dependable, and attentive to every detail from start to finish. The finished landscape is absolutely beautiful, and I’m so grateful for the care, craftsmanship, and pride they brought to my home.
Luxury Full Home remodeling covers more than one job. Here's how we break down the work so every part of your project gets the right level of attention.
A full house remodel covers every room and every system. Here's how we break down the work so every part of your Irving renovation gets the right trade, the right sequence, and the right level of attention.
A full house renovation in Irving requires a level of project management discipline that single-room remodels don't. When you're coordinating plumbers, electricians, framers, drywall crews, flooring installers, painters, cabinet installers, and tile setters across multiple rooms simultaneously, the margin for scheduling errors, material delivery gaps, and trade conflicts is significant. We eliminate that margin by building a master project plan before the demo begins that maps every trade's work, every material delivery, and every inspection checkpoint on a single timeline.
Every client on a full home renovation project in Irving gets a dedicated project manager who is on site regularly, communicating with every trade, tracking material orders, and keeping you informed at every stage. When something changes, you know before the change happens. When an issue arises, you hear about it with a proposed solution, not just a problem. That's the project management standard we hold every whole-home renovation to.
The kitchen and bathrooms are the highest-stakes rooms in any full home renovation, and getting them right means managing the most trades in the smallest spaces on the tightest sequence. Cabinet delivery timing, countertop templating, plumbing rough-in, tile installation, glass ordering, and fixture installation all have to happen in a specific order and all have to be coordinated with the rest of the home's renovation timeline.
We plan the kitchen and bathroom scopes in detail before any other room in the project is scheduled, because these rooms set the pace for everything else. When the kitchen and bathrooms are on schedule, the rest of the project follows. When they fall behind, every other trade in the house waits. That's the level of priority we give to these rooms in every full home project we manage in Irving.
Opening a floor plan in an Irving home is one of the most impactful changes a full renovation can include, and one of the most technically demanding to execute correctly. Load-bearing walls support the structure above them. Removing one without the correct beam specification and post placement transfers that load to adjacent elements that may not be designed to carry it. We engage a licensed structural engineer for every wall removal in our full home projects, pull the required permit, and have the work inspected by the city before any drywall closes over the new structure.
Beyond wall removal, we handle room additions, second-story structural modifications, garage conversions, and ceiling height changes, all engineered, permitted, and executed by the same team managing the rest of your Irving home's renovation. Every structural change is documented and signed off by a licensed professional so the finished home is safe, code-compliant, and not subject to insurance or resale complications from unpermitted structural work.
A full house renovation is the most cost-effective time to address aging electrical panels, aluminum wiring, outdated galvanized plumbing, and undersized drain lines in your Irving home. When walls are already open for other renovation work, accessing the electrical and plumbing systems costs a fraction of what it costs to cut into finished drywall for a standalone system upgrade. We identify every system that should be upgraded during the renovation and schedule the work during the rough-in phase, before any wall is closed, so your Irving home gets modern, code-compliant infrastructure without paying twice to access the same wall. Every electrical and plumbing upgrade is permitted, inspected at the required rough-in phase, and documented before walls close. We don't skip inspections to save time. We schedule them into the project plan as checkpoints so the rest of the renovation can proceed only after the underlying systems are confirmed correct by a licensed inspector.
