A kitchen remodel touches more trades than almost any other project in the house. Cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, electrical, and flooring all have to come together on schedule, in the right order, and to the right standard, or the whole project slows down and costs more than it should. Irving homeowners trust Build Strong Construction and Remodeling to manage that coordination from the first layout sketch to the final walkthrough, so nothing falls through the cracks and no trade is left waiting on another one to finish before they can start.
We've completed kitchen remodeling projects across Irving and the greater DFW area ranging from focused single-wall refreshes to complete gut renovations where every surface, system, and appliance was replaced. Every project runs the same way: one project manager, one schedule, one fixed estimate, and one team accountable for the result from demo day to the final walkthrough. If something changes in scope, we tell you before we do it, not after. That's how we've built the reputation we have in Irving, and it's the standard every kitchen project we take on is held to.
Kitchen work means plumbing and electrical near water and heat, so every install meets Irving building code and passes inspection before we call the job done.
Detailed, itemized estimates before work begins mean you know exactly where every dollar is going. No guessing games, no surprises, and no hidden costs buried in your final invoice.
We set a realistic, trade-sequenced timeline up front and manage every phase to hit it, so your Irving kitchen doesn't stay torn apart one day longer than it has to.
We coordinate every trade on your kitchen remodel so you’re never left managing separate plumbers, electricians, and cabinet installers yourself. One team, one schedule, and one point of contact from demo day through the final walkthrough in Irving. That coordination matters more than most homeowners realize until they’ve tried to manage it themselves and discovered how quickly a delayed countertop delivery or a plumber who shows up on the wrong day can push everything back by weeks.
Every material we specify for your Irving kitchen, from countertop slabs to cabinet hardware, is chosen to hold up to daily use, not just look good on installation day. We walk every client through material selections with a focus on long-term performance in addition to appearance, because the kitchen you’re building should look as good in ten years as it does the week it’s finished. That’s the standard we bring to every kitchen project in Irving and across the DFW area.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with David Rubin and his team on my backyard project. From the very beginning to the completion of my back porch and beautiful gazebo area, David was there every step of the way. I had several contractors come out and give me estimates, but David immediately stood out. He was personable, honest, trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely interested in understanding exactly what I wanted. As a single woman who had never taken on a project like this before, I honestly had no idea where to start. David made the entire process comfortable and stress-free. I never felt pressured or taken advantage of. David worked with me on financing to make the project affordable while still giving me what I wanted. He went above and beyond what I expected. He even provided a shower door at no additional cost and moved and stained my fence without charging me extra. While I was at work, David and his crew handled everything—from picking up supplies to coordinating the work and making sure everything was taken care of. Whenever I had a concern, an idea, or something I felt needed to be corrected, David listened and took care of it right away. He would call and check in regularly to make sure I was happy and that everything was progressing the way it should. What impressed me most was that David treated my project as if it were his own. He didn’t just want to finish the job—he wanted me to be happy with the result. And the best part is that even after the project was completed, David has continued to be helpful. He has offered to connect me with people who can help with other things around my home, such as putting furniture together, installing ceiling fans, and other handyman projects. I truly feel like I gained a friend, not just a contractor. My backyard turned out beautiful, and I am extremely happy with the quality of the work and, most importantly, with how I was treated throughout the entire process. If you are looking for someone who is honest, dependable, caring, and truly stands behind his work, I highly recommend David Rubin and his team. You will not regret choosing them! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Posted on Google![]()

The Build Strong team actually completed two projects - one to repair water damage to my retaining wall and a second to refurbish a very old pool deck that wasn't really safe to walk on. The retaining wall repair included a new French drain to relieve water pressure after rainfall and the work was completed quickly. A more challenging project followed that involved removing all of the sandstone slabs around our pool and resetting them so that they were graded correctly for runoff and to improve the overall look and safety of the entire pool. A new French drain was also installed. The work was well done and has turned an unsafe eyesore back into a nice looking finish. The first image is the upgraded pool prior to power washing and the second is the original look. We were very satisfied with both projects.Posted on Google![]()

Daniel, David, and the entire team did an outstanding job on my landscaping project—professional, thoughtful, dependable, and attentive to every detail from start to finish. The finished landscape is absolutely beautiful, and I’m so grateful for the care, craftsmanship, and pride they brought to my home.
Our remodeling services cover more than one kind of job. Here's how we break down the work so every part of your project gets the right level of attention.
Our top priority is customer satisfaction, and we work closely with Irving homeowners to understand their unique needs, cooking habits, and design goals before a single cabinet is ordered.
Your countertops set the tone for the whole kitchen, and they absorb more daily wear than almost any other surface in the house. We fabricate and install quartz, quartzite, granite, and solid-surface countertops for Irving homeowners, specifying each material for the way the kitchen actually gets used rather than just how it looks in a showroom. Edges are profiled, seams are placed where they're least visible, and every surface is finished and sealed before the backsplash tile goes up so the two materials meet cleanly.
Our tile and backsplash work is held to the same standard as the countertop work it connects to. We install subway tile, large-format porcelain, natural stone, and handmade tile backsplashes, planning the layout from the center of the most visible wall outward so cuts land in corners and grout lines run consistently from end to end. Every backsplash installation is grouted, sealed, and cleaned before we call it done.
A full kitchen remodel in Irving touches cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, electrical, and flooring all at once, and the order those trades happen in matters as much as the quality of each individual piece of work. Cabinets have to be in before countertops can be templated. Countertops have to be in before the backsplash can be cut and installed. Flooring has to go in last. If any of those sequences get out of order, you're paying trades to wait or paying other trades to redo work that got damaged.
We plan the complete material selection and trade sequence for your Irving kitchen before demo starts, then manage every contractor and every delivery against that schedule so your project moves from torn-apart to finished without gaps, delays, or last-minute surprises. One project manager oversees every phase. One point of contact handles every question. One team is accountable for the full result from the first demolition cut to the final walkthrough.
Cabinets are where the majority of your kitchen's functional storage lives, which means fit, finish, and interior configuration matter far more than the door style alone. We design and install custom and semi-custom cabinetry for Irving kitchens, starting with precise field measurements of the actual space rather than standard assumptions. Every cabinet run is designed around the full appliance suite, the countertop overhang, the lighting plan, and the specific storage needs of your household before a single cabinet is ordered.
Interior configurations, rollout shelves, drawer inserts, pull-out trash systems, appliance garages, and pantry organization are all planned as part of the cabinetry design, not added on afterward. Installation is level, plumb, and aligned to the countertop layout so doors and drawers operate correctly and the finished kitchen looks like it was designed as a whole rather than assembled from separate parts.
Sometimes the biggest improvement you can make to an Irving kitchen has nothing to do with the finishes or the appliances, and everything to do with the layout itself. A galley kitchen that opens to the living room becomes a completely different space. An island relocated six inches in the right direction improves traffic flow for an entire household. A wall removed between the kitchen and the dining room changes how a family uses both spaces every single day.
We evaluate your current floor plan, identify the layout changes that would deliver the most improvement for how you actually use the space, confirm the structural feasibility of every proposed change, and model the new layout in enough detail that you can see exactly how it will function before anything gets torn out. Every layout modification is engineered, permitted, and executed correctly, so the finished kitchen works the way you imagined it when the project started.
